TRYOUT INFORMATION - BYBSA Competitive Softball
All players attending tryouts must go to the following link to complete the 2025 BYBSA Comp Softball Tryout Registration before they are allowed to tryout for any BYBSA Comp Softball teams, https://www.bybsa.net/program/81028/2025-bybsa-comp-softball-tryout-registration

Who Must Tryout?
Any Player who falls into One (1) or more of the following categories MUST attend the tryout. Players who do not attend tryouts will not be placed on a team - No Exceptions
1. A new player to BYSBA Competitive Softball - This player did not play Competitive Softball with BYBSA in previous season.
2. A Player who is not part of a "Returning" Team to BYBSA Competitive Softball. A returning team is defined as a team that has at least six (6) players from the previous year's roster returning to play on the same team the following year. If your daughter played on a team that has disbanded for whatever reason, they are required to attend tryouts to be placed on a new team.
3. A returning player wishing to be placed on a new team - This player may desire to try to make a higher level team. In this case, the player must attend tryouts.
Players will be selected based on tryout results and placed on teams according to ability and ranking within the tryout.
Each player will be assigned a number based on when they check in.
Player is required to have a glove, bat and batting helmet. Cleats are highly recommended, but not mandatory.
Parents are welcome to attend their player's tryout, but are not allowed on the playing fields AT ANY TIME.
Teams/Coaches not affiliated with BYBSA are not allowed on the complex at any time during the tryout.

The BYBSA will be holding tryouts for our 2025 Competitive Softball teams at the following times and locations in July 2024.
16U/18U - Monday, July 15th, 2024. 6:00-9:00pm. Pawlowski Fields, 1100 Voiles Street, Brighton, CO 80601
14U - Tuesday. July 16th, 2024. 6:00-9:00pm. Pawlowski Fields, 1100 Voiles Street, Brighton, CO, 80601
12U - Wednesday, July 17th, 2024.6:00-9:00pm. Pawlowski Fields, 1100 Voiles Street, Brighton, CO 80601
10U - Thursday, July 18th, 2024. 6:00pm-9:00pm. Pawlowski Fields, 1100 Voiles Street, Brighton, CO 80601
