BYBSA Competitive Softball League
The BYBSA has teamed up with the Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association to provide a Competitive Softball League for girls ages 8-18.
The BYBSA has Comp Softball teams based out of Brighton,Strasburg and surrounding areas.
The BYBSA has Comp Softball teams playing at 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U/18U Divisions
The BYBSA Comp Softball Coaches will create their own schedule. They will play a minimum of 8 home games and 8 road games.
The BYBSA will provide a complete uniform for the BYBSA Comp Softball players that will include a jersey, pants, belt and socks.
Players may play up one age group from their age as of December 31st of current year.
Teams will practice 2 times per week at one of the BYBSA Indoor Practice Facilities starting in December and outside 2 times per week starting in March. Practices will last 1-1/2 hours.
All IPGSA Comp Softball League games will be played on weeknights except for IPGSA EOS Tournament and possible make up games.
All 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U/18U BYBSA Comp Softball teams will play in the IPGSA End of Season Tournament.
BYBSA Comp Softball teams may choose to play in tournaments in addition to the IPGSA Comp Softball League. The BYBSA does not pay for these tournaments and the teams will need to raise money on their own to pay for the entry fees in these tournaments.
