Each batter will get up to 6 pitches. If they get 3 strikes before 6 pitches are thrown they are out. If they get to ball 4 they do not walk. A coach from the batters team will come in and throw up to 2 pitches. If they do not put the ball in play on one of the 2 pitches thrown by the coach they are out.
The coach that is pitching may pitch standing up or from a knee. They will need to pitch from 30-40 feet from the plate. The point of having the coach pitch is for the batter to hit the ball and not strike out.
If the coach is pitching and gets hit by a batted ball it will be a dead ball and the batter/runners may only advance 1 base.
If a batter is hit by a pitch from the coach they do not get a free base.
Base Running:
Once any infield position player has control of the ball in the area of the field inside of the bases, official play is stopped. If a base runner is proceeding to the next base when time is called, that runner will be allowed to continue to the next base. If the base runner’s progress has stopped, that base runner will return to the previous base unless it is already occupied. The umpire will call time as soon as the lead runner is not attempting to advance.
Base runners may not steal. No runners will leave the base until the batter hits the ball, the runner will be called out it they leave prior to the hit ball.
An offensive player must slide at any base except first base if the play is close.  The batter may be called out at the discretion of the umpire if he does not attempt to slide in the event of a close play.
Runners may advance 1 base on an overthrow, and cannot take a 2nd base.
The infield fly rule is not in effect.
Outfield players may not be brought in any closer to the batter than the edge of the infield and the outfield grass.
Teams must play a catcher at all times even if they don't have enough players in the field.
Catcher’s mitts are recommended but not required.
No adults or coaches are allowed in the playing area other than the dugout and the coach’s boxes. The only exception to this is when a coach comes in the game to pitch.
